to be honest i have a lot of "friends" but very few true friends, and most of them live a car trip {or in a few cases plane trip} away from me. until this past week!!! and i woke up today to realize that one of my bestest friends in the whole world {besides the one laying next to me} went from living 55 miles from me, to living 14.1 miles ... so happy! now we can have more times like these...

the beautiful thing about true friends is that they can grow separately without growing apart and then hopefully your home base paths will cross again and you can pick up right where you left off.

The best kind of friendships!
My first best friend and I have known each other since kindergarten. We've gone months, even years when she moved away when we were little, without speaking and yet our friendship has never wavered. True friends know that real life gets hectic sometimes and it gets in the way and they are ALWAYS there whenever you need a pick me up. I love my bestie. My second best friend and I have only known each other since 09 and have never met in person. We met online and have been close ever since. We talk for hours upon hours a day and honestly, she knows me better than anyone else. I would so be lost without her.
all of my friends lived halfway across the country until recently, and i had honestly grown apart from many of them due to life experiences, save 1 or 2. it's funny how i was on a bad date one night that lead me to 3 new girls that are definitely people i cannot live without. we make everything an adventure/experience. i'm always looking for new people to add to the fold though, because the group is always up for growth
