bachelorette part 2

Monday, April 30, 2012

here is the banner that i made for the bachelorette party. i couldn't find the right size letters anywhere, so i cut my own {well actually cam did the cutting... } by printing out large letters and tracing them onto poster board then used an exacto knife to cut out. next i glittered letters using modge podge and two types of glitter {bigger chunky regular gold glitter and martha stewart gold tinsel glitter} i did two layers of the glitter and a final top coat of modge podge. next punch holes in the tops of the letters, string behind the letters to connect.  i added a pink version of the same fringe i used on the invitations {which you can see here}

love you k

You're actually so freaking crafty it makes me feel bad about myself. I swooned over every detail of everleigh's birthday party.

P.S. Love your tattoo!

Caitie :

I literally BURST out laughing when I got to the "Cheers Bitches" picture. It was a well needed laugh so thank you!

I LOVE this!!!

And Shes Off... :

OK...basic, silly questions, for a non-crafter that wants to steal this amazing idea!

Where did you find the fringe?? And what font/size did you use to get these to fit as perfectly as they do?

Youre amazing! :)

dominique :

and shes off- no question is ever silly!!!! i found the fringe at a craft store by my house { JOANN's} and its on the trimming isle... near the ribbon. they should have rolls of all kinds of trim that you take to the fabric counter to get cut. they should have a bunch of color options too. if you dont have joanns try michaels, hobby lobby or any fabric store. and the font i used was american typewriter {it should be an font preset on word} and i think i did size 600! { even though it only says it goes up to 72 you can type in any number.}
hope that helps!!! good luck! ♥

Sarah :

Hey AMAZING IDEA! Love it! Stealing it! How much fringe did you use? And did you use fishing line?

Thanks!
