you would think over the past 27 years my mom {❤} would have mentioned this little trick to me, but it took traveling all the way home to texas and seeing celery in a glass on her counter then me asking "mom why do you have celery in a glass on your counter?" to learn it. So incase your mom hasn't mentioned it to you either, if you bought celery a few days ago and its already "bendy" soak it in a glass of water and it will harden back up! the more you know....
*obviously if you are cleaning out the fridge and find a rogue stick this isn't gonna work. please throw it out.

When we were younger we would put food coloring in with it. The food coloring would run up the celery and change the color. We thought that was so cool!
i'll have to try with the food coloring!! xo
I had no idea you could do this with celery but I do it with scallions.
