ok so i'll be honest this little craft didnt turn out as planned... ugh - don't you hate it when that happens??? i originally bought little headband clamps that were supposed to hold the fabric together like a real headband and ... well, they just didnt work out. but i still thought these were totally cute just tied to the back. so until i find something that actually works your getting this! you can take any kind of tshirt, tshirt material or jersey material rip it into loooong shreds then braid and tied it up! { i know ridiculously easy! and actually some fabric stores sell braided jersey}

i get a lot of emails asking about my engagement ring, and since i've had wedding on the brain lately with my sister getting married and all, i thought i would do a little post on it! however, while looking for a picture of it, i came across about five million other rings that i love too!!! not that i don't love my ring... i LOVE LOVE my ring but a girl can love many rings at once right??? i never did come across a picture of my exact ring but it is made by cathy waterman. she is amazing and i would gladly accept just about any ring from her collection. i'm definitely not a traditional type when it comes the engagement rings so there won't be any tiffany's here but i'm pretty sure any of these rings will leave you saying hell yes... {ps honey... if you're reading this... i have no problem wearing two rings.. or three for that matter... or four}

my little sister is getting married in october {❤l} so i had another bridal shower and bachelorette to throw!!! heres a few inspirational pics for your next party!

i think i've mentioned this before but i'm not big on all the games at showers that they force you to play when no one really wants too. however, i know that there has to be some "games" or something for people to do so they aren't bored- so- here are a couple ideas for those of you who aren't into the "game" games either , and for those of you who are.... well you just keep playing bridal bingo. ok so for game number one i printed out a bunch of pictures of the happy couple{at least one for every person there} and put out markers. then i had everyone graffiti all over the pictures and on the back write love or marriage advice. for game number two i tried to think of something kitchen related since we were having a kitchen shower and the theme was "love is sweet."  i got 12 spices and placed them in little clear jars and had everyone guess what the spices were. the person to guess the most won a prize. for the third and final game i set a timer while she was opening presents and whoever's present she was opening won a prize

OPI-OH MY!

i just got a sweet little package from a family friend, who works for OPI, and who sent me all of my nail polish staples! of course i love all the crazy trendy colors as much as the next girls but sometimes there is just nothing like the classics... so since i got a fresh stock i figured i'd show you all my classic go-to's!

tell me about it... STUD

studs are everywhere right now and you don't have to pay an arm and a leg to get em! i grabbed an old clutch from forever21 and a couple others i had lying around and spiced them up with a little gold embellishment! i had to go to an actual fabric store to find the studs but other than that everything else i needed i had at home. so i put on jim gaffigan's new stand up, sat my little tushie on the couch, laughed my little tushie off and got to studding. its super easy! just pick where you want the stud to go and press it in with your thumbs, once it breaks through use the pliers to bend and secure {or your thumbs if the stud clips are flexible.} go as crazy or simple as you want!!
